Seneca raise £3,000 for Macmillan

On 19 June 2021, a team of 4 from Seneca completed the Lake District Macmillan Mighty Hike. The competitors covered over 25 miles in approximately 8 hours. The group completed the walk with plenty of blisters to show for it, but all in aid of a great cause. We are proud to say that they raised in excess of £3,000 for Macmillan.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those that supported the Seneca team by way of donations and messages of support. It is very much appreciated by those that undertook the walk and of course, Macmillan Cancer Support. It would also be remiss of us not to highlight the impressive job that Macmillan did in hosting such an excellent event, particularly with the Covid-19 restrictions they had to overcome. It was a very well run event and we would encourage anyone and everyone to take a look at the 2022 event calendar when it’s available and seriously consider getting involved. Well done to all at Macmillan!
