£17m-turnover travel management business Cabfind, based in Liverpool, has been acquired by Transdev, one of the largest public transport operators in Europe, as part of its plans to further expand into the UK transport industry. The French-owned multinational has swooped for Birkenhead-based Cabfind.com, a family-run company set up in 2005 by brothers Chris and Tim Jordan. Cabfind.com provides managed transport services to more than 120 corporate accounts across the public and private sector via private hire cars and coaches.
Seneca Partners provided corporate finance advice to the Cabfind shareholders, led by Gordon Lane and supported by Andrew Stubbs and Paul Leyland.
