Seneca Partners’ 21st EIS Portfolio exit returns £2.8m to investors

Seneca Partners’ 21st EIS Portfolio exit returns £2.8m to investors

Seneca Partners EIS Portfolio Service has returned £2.8million to investors following the takeover of Collagen Solutions Plc, an AIM listed holding specialising in medical grade collagen components.

The exit has been achieved three and a half years after Seneca’s investment into Collagen and brings the total number of full or partial exits within the EIS portfolio to 21.

John Davies, Seneca Partners Investment Director commented:

‘’This is a timely exit providing a substantial pay out to our investors at a time when the wider economic picture has been difficult for many businesses. The average return across the 21 exits is 1.6x before any charges and tax reliefs, and it maintains our blended return objective for our EIS Portfolio Service. The relevance of growth capital investment through our VCT and EIS products continues to strengthen.’’
