Seneca Launches Trade Finance Business with £10m Funding Line

Investment management and corporate advisory business Seneca Partners has backed a new specialist Trade Finance business. Seneca Trade Partners is headed by Chris Divers and Chris Williams and will offer bespoke international trade credit facilities to clients based throughout the UK.

Seneca Partners currently provides debt and equity funding of around £100m largely deployed in the North West SME market. Richard Manley, Director at Seneca Partners, commented, “Seneca has been looking to enter the Trade Finance market for some time, and when we first met the new Seneca Trade Partners team we were impressed by their specialist knowledge and bespoke funding approach. ‎The Trade Finance business compliments our existing offering to the SME market extremely well and it will commence with a £10m funding line.”
