Our belief is that no one in Bolton should die alone, in pain or in fear. Sponsor a nurse today and help us provide care, hope and support for the local people who need it most. Our nurses don’t just provide end of life care. They can help as soon as an incurable illness is diagnosed, supporting patients and families at every difficult step of their journey.

Since our first event in November 2010, we have provided equipment for The Royal Bolton NHS hospital, The Nightingale Centre NHS Hospital in South Manchester, Thomas Linacre Breast Centre at Wrightington Wigan and Leigh NHS Hospital and the Paterson Institute next to The Christie. The level of funding for the latest state-of-the-art equipment is almost non-existent in the NHS at the present time, as confirmed by the UK Statistics Authority only recently and we feel that we are plugging that gap.

Box4Kids invites seriously ill children to enjoy sporting and entertainment events from the comfort of executive boxes. The boxes provide a safe and relaxing environment for children and most importantly the opportunity to be treated like a VIP for the day. These much deserved experiences provide quality time for each child and their guest, away from the day-to-day challenges they face with their illnesses. Often, boxes are left empty at events and this provides the Trust with fantastic opportunities to fill these boxes with deserving children. Organisations are able to simply donate their boxes to the Barrie Wells Trust for individual events and the Events team then handle all the logistics for the day.

Francis House supports approximately 2,000 people at any one time with respite care, homecare, sibling support, end of life care and emotional and bereavement support.

Macmillan has spent more than 100 years helping people living with cancer. From the moment someone is diagnosed with cancer, we’re there with all the information, support and guidance they need, to help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can.

Our 14 Houses across the UK give families a warm and comfortable place to rest, eat and relax, just moments away from their child’s hospital ward. Our support is invaluable to families at a critical time in their lives.

Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital (RMCH) is the largest and busiest children’s hospital in the UK, with managed services at Wythenshawe Hospital, Trafford General Hospital and North Manchester General Hospital alongside the dedicated Oxford Road site. With foundations that can be traced all the way back to 1829, today it is a centre of excellence for paediatric care which provides highly specialist services for children and young people from across the North West, the UK, and even the world.

Wigan and Leigh Hospice is a registered charity serving people across Wigan borough who have been diagnosed with an illness which is no longer curable. We believe passionately in providing care suited to every patient’s unique needs. Every day, 365 days a year, we aim to offer a supportive, caring approach to everyone who uses our services. We believe hospices should be about living as well as dying.

The RAF Benevolent Fund is here for current and former RAF personnel and their families, offering a range of support including financial assistance, breaks, emotional wellbeing support, and more. As an independent charity that relies on your generosity, we also offer many ways for you to get involved and help us continue our vital work.

Our aim is to support the recovery of injured and sick Service personnel and veterans through nationwide confidence building golf events and opportunities for employment in the golf industry.

We are proud to be the oldest open-access youth club in the country! Our story began in 1889, during a time of significant industrial and social change. For young people working long days in the mills, there was nowhere safe or affordable to spend their evenings. Recognising this need, five visionary community leaders—church leaders and industrialists—stepped in to make a difference. They purchased an old warehouse on Bark Street and transformed it into a hostel, providing young workers with a safe space to wash, eat, and rest. And so, Bolton Lads & Girls Club (BLGC) was born, paving the way for over 135 years of supporting young people in our community!

At Inspire, our mission has always been simple – to help young people be the best they can be. Since opening, we’ve worked tirelessly to provide equal opportunities, raise aspirations, and create a space where young people feel valued and supported. We’ve seen firsthand the incredible impact this work has had, and I’m so proud of what we’ve achieved so far.

Since 2010, St Helens Borough Council has run a gift appeal for children aged from birth to 21 years at risk of waking up on Christmas Day without a present. During that time, tens of thousands of items have been donated, with last year’s appeal alone resulting in gifts being shared out between more than 850 children and young people – including care leavers.
