Seneca embark on 318km Challenge

Seneca embark on 318km Challenge

Commencing 14 September 2017, 18 ‘riders’ from Seneca, Acceleris and Gorilla will be embarking on a 3 day, 318 kilometre cycling challenge circuit called the Lakes and Dales Loop, starting and ending in Kirkby Lonsdale.

The team will be captained by three expert Seneca riders in Tim Murphy, Norman Molyneux and Gordon Lane.

We are raising funds for two local Onside Youth Zones. All the centres do an incredible job and require substantial funding to keep the doors open each year and we’re delighted to be doing our small bit for two of the sites to help the amazing work continue.

Our fundraising page is now live so please feel free to visit, donate and share…

Our fundraising target is £10,000 so we’ll have to work hard to achieve that goal. All funds raised will be split 50:50 between Wigan Youth Zone and Bolton Lads and Girls Club (the Virgin page does this automatically).

A message from Wigan Youth Zone – On behalf of everyone at Wigan Youth Zone, thank you for your fundraising support. To keep the doors open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, we need to raise just under £1.5 million per year and so every penny that you’ve helped to raise for the Youth Zone is greatly appreciated and will be well spent! Thanks again for your help and support, and keep up the good work!! For more information visit our website: Or follow us on twitter: @wiganyouthzone.

Good luck with the training to everyone that is taking part and many thanks to anyone else who is able to help with our fundraising efforts.
