Seneca add to Investment Team

Experienced Corporate Finance professional John Davies has joined Seneca Partners as an Investment Director in Seneca’s EIS Investment team

John has gained over 10 years corporate finance and business recovery experience working in the Transaction Services and the Business Recovery teams of Robson Rhodes and BDO, before moving into a lead advisory role with Clearwater Corporate Finance.

Combining his transactional experience of both sell-side and buy-side roles, John will be responsible for assisting in the growth, monitoring and transacting of the Seneca EIS Investment Service’s portfolio of companies.

John commented, “This is an excellent opportunity for me to work alongside a highly regarded, respected management team, in a dynamic business with a first class service offering. I’m looking forward to contributing to the growth of the Seneca business by helping EIS investors and EIS portfolio companies achieve their growth aspirations.”

Seneca Partners Director, Richard Manley said, “We are delighted to welcome John to Seneca and to have added further strength to our already highly experienced team of investment professionals. We continue to support UK growth businesses through the deployment of growth capital and are seeing renewed buoyancy amongst those SMEs we support. There is a high calibre of investment opportunities in the market and we are excited about the prospects of expanding and adding to our existing portfolio.”
