Redx Pharma appoints Dr. Frank Armstrong as Non-Executive Chairman

Frank Armstrong brings a wealth of industry knowledge and highly relevant experience of oncology and anti-infectives, two of the areas of early stage drug research that have driven expansion at the company, which operates from bases in Liverpool and Alderley Park, Cheshire.

Frank began his career as a physician before moving into the Pharma industry. He has considerable public and private company expertise, and his current roles include non-executive directorships with Columbia Laboratories (NASDAQ) and Actino Pharma. He is chairman of CardioRentis, Summit PLC and Xceleron and an adviser to Healthcare Royalty Partners. His big pharma credentials include Zeneca, where he was a senior vice president, and Bayer, where he was executive vice president and head of worldwide product development.
