Redx job cuts reflect “really difficult choices”

The chief executive of Alderley Park-headquartered Redx has told Insider that the drug developer has had to make some “really difficult choices” on what areas to focus on after revealing it was cutting more than 80 jobs as part of a major restructuring.

It represents part of a strategic refocus in which the group is restructuring to become a research and development-focussed company. The move will result in savings of approximately £4.2m, although this figure is subject to consultation.
