MPD relocates to city centre to target tech talent

//

Technology and software company MPD Group, home to Electio and MyParcel Delivery, has relocated to a new city centre office in Manchester. The company says the move from Trafford park to new offices in Merchant Exchange on Whitworth Street West will play a key role in attracting top talent, as it plans to double staff numbers to more than 50 by the end of the year.

David Grimes, chief executive of MPD Group said: “We’re committed to attracting the North’s top talent and moving into the accessible location of Manchester city centre plays a huge part in that. The North West has one of the most vibrant and exciting tech scenes in Europe and we’re proud to be a part of it. The quality of the technology we’re producing is shaking up the delivery industry and attracting some of the biggest names in ecommerce. It’s now time to invest in our staff and attract future talent by providing a fantastic office environment right in the heart of the Northern Powerhouse.”
