26 Mile Hike for Macmillan Cancer

A team from Seneca are taking part in the 2020 Lake District Mighty Hike in a bid to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

You can find out more information about the event and donate to the team by clicking here.

The event takes place on 20th June 2020 and involves walking 26 miles round the beautiful Lake Ullswater.

In comparison to someone fighting cancer, this is a clearly a small challenge but one that will test the group and we’ll work together to get everyone across the line. We have set ourselves a fundraising target of £5,000 which we’re hopeful we can achieve but it won’t be easy.

There are so many great and worthy causes out there but if you’re able to make a small donation to help with our efforts then it really will be immensely appreciated by everyone in the team.

We’re still hopeful of encouraging some more of our friends from Seneca to take part but at the moment the team consists of the following…

Andrew Currie – Jan Currie – Tina Fitzgerald – Jade Kelsall – Craig Ashton – Chris Hood – Suzanne Hood – Mark Hopton

Thank you for your support. You can find out more about Macmillan and the fantastic work they do on their website – macmillan.org.uk
